Speaker: Former Governor, Tim Pawlenty
Governor Pawlenty will speak about preparing Minnesotans for the profound changes the next wave of technology will trigger as Artificial Intelligence and other advanced technologies will dramatically increase automation in almost every business sector and profession. He will describe how those changes will increase speed, precision and productivity but also the nature of education, training and work itself. 

Bio:
Tim Pawlenty serves as the CEO of the Financial Services Roundtable. Governor Pawlenty brings dynamic leadership and vision to an organization that represents the nation;s leading financial services companies in their efforts to protect the security, integrity and success of our nation's financial system. Those efforts include initiatives to improve the nation's cyber security while also further advancing the responsible application of technology to financial services. 
As a former two-term Governor of MN, he is a leader with significant experience having overseen a $50 billion biennial budget, 30,000 state employees, and 20 agencies. His education, healthcare and energy initiatives were widely viewed as among the most innovative in the nation. Governor Pawlenty is a nationally respected policymaker who combines his depth of knowledge with a unique ability to communicate on complex issues. More recently, he is also raising awareness about the future of work and policy changes that will be needed as the so-called "4th Industrial Revolution" further unfolds.
