Commuter Services

Commuter Services is the outreach arm of the I-494 Corridor Commission. Commuter Services is one of five Transportation Management Organizations (TMOs) in the Twin Cities metropolitan region. Staff work closely with employers and managers of multi-tenant office buildings to promote alternatives to the drive-alone commute.

Commuter Services' mission is to mitigate traffic congestion and air pollution along the I-494 corridor by encouraging the use of sustainable transportation options including bicycling, carpooling, vanpooling, transit and teleworking. The Commuter Services staff reaches out to businesses in our member cities of Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Minnetonka, and Richfield.
